After flying high against Cokeville  on Wednesday, Mountain View came back down to earth. The Mountain View Buffalos fell just short of the Lander Valley Tigers by a score of  3-2 on Thursday. The Buffalos' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Mountain View took Lander Valley into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 22-25, 23-25,  15-11.
 Mountain View's offense was headlined by 
 Addison Hickey and 
 Mckinlee Covolo, who picked up 16 kills apiece. They got some help from 
 Mariah Micheli and her 44 assists. She also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with 
 Charleigh Windley, racking up two apiece.
 Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Lander Valley, their victory  ended  a  six-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-10.
 As of now, neither Mountain View nor Lander Valley have any future games scheduled.
