The biggest upset of the week belonged to Loyola Blakefield, who took down 26th ranked Loyola Blakefield, 24-20.
Gilman extended the longest winning streak in MIAA A this week by beating Calvert Hall, 24-14. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Mount St. Joseph's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Gaels feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bryan Jangro has thrown for 1029 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Brandon Batts has 17 catches for 413 yards. Nevone McCrimmon leads the league in rushing with 901 yards.
Mount St. Joseph's McCrimmon needs only 99 yards against the Dons next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Cardinals take on Archbishop Spalding. Calvert Hall is currently in first, while the Cavaliers are in third.
Archbishop Spalding and Loyola Blakefield played the most hotly contested game in MIAA A this week, with Archbishop Spalding eventually emerging with a 24-20 victory.
