Great Crossing won the last time they faced Mercy and things went their way on Saturday too. Great Crossing blew past Mercy 7-1.

The team relied heavily on Dakota Mullins, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ashtyn Holbrook, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Great Crossing hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Great Crossing's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Mercy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.

Coming up, Great Crossing will square off against South Warren at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Great Crossing surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mercy, they will take on Anderson County at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
