A Season-Best Performance from Kinston Crater Leads Starmount over Carrboro
Kinston Crater produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Starmount to the win on Friday. Crater rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023.
The win made it two in a row for Starmount and bumps their season record up to 6-1. Crater and Starmount have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome East Wilkes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

East Wilkes found a leader in Phoenix Blackburn as the squad took down Elkin on Friday. Blackburn was unstoppable, rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
East Wilkes' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Blackburn and East Wilkes will challenge Starmount at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
