It was a good run, but Montevallo unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Hillcrest Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Montevallo's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Hillcrest, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-18 record.

Looking ahead, Montevallo will welcome Demopolis at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillcrest, they will challenge Clay-Chalkville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
