Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carroll to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jersey Paul, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 22 points and three steals. Paul has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Meanwhile, Norwell fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Noblesville on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Millers by a score of 73-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (68), the Knights still had to take the loss.
Carroll now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Norwell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.
