The victory got Greer back to even at 4-4. As for Berea, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greer will be home for the holidays to greet James F. Byrnes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. James F. Byrnes presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Greer in South Carolina (James F. Byrnes is ranked 13th, while Greer is ranked 77th). As for Berea, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Southside at 6:00 p.m. Southside's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so Berea's offense will have their work cut out for Berea.
