The Crawford County Wolfpack's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Corydon Central 39-37. The win was just what Crawford County needed coming off of a 54-22 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crawford County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blake Seibert, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Zander Sattler was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Crawford County's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Corydon Central, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crawford County and Perry Central will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Perry Central and Crawford County are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Corydon Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
