The Hamilton Hornets fell to the Princeton Tigers 41-20 when the two teams previously met in January of last year; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Hamilton skirted past Princeton 34-30. It took 12 tries, but the Hornets can finally say that they have a win on the road.
Hamilton's victory brought them up to 4-14. Princeton's defeat pushed them down to 4-16.
Hamilton is staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Nottingham. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Hamilton has to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps rankings on their side for this one. As for Princeton, they will face off against Northern Burlington next week. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, the Tigers now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
