 Even though they lost, Bountiful  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Roy only tossed three.
 On Roy's side,  Parker Skidmore tossed a big game,   tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Bountiful and  nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Roy, their victory  ended  an  eight-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bountiful will  face off against Box Elder at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Roy, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Woods Cross at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
