Katie Wolaver was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
