The Moniteau Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Keystone Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moniteau is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
Moniteau fell victim to DuBois' stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 36-0 defeat at the hands of the Beavers. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Meanwhile, Keystone was beaten by Port Allegany 50-13 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Keystone can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 440th, while Port Allegany is ranked 186th).
Although Keystone took the loss, they still got scores from Drew Keth and Eli Nellis.
The losses dropped Moniteau to 1-8 and Keystone to 3-6.
Moniteau was taken down by Keystone 57-12 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Can Moniteau avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
