The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for two points.
St. Francis de Sales was led to victory by Jerimiya Sims and Davione Doty. Sims scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Doty almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Doty has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Johnson, who scored nine points along with two steals.
St. Francis de Sales' victory bumped their record up to 9-19. As for Southland College Prep, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis de Sales won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Calumet Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully St. Francis de Sales focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Monday.
