Kiski School had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 2-7 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Brashear Bulls as they made off with an 8-2 win. The Cougars not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10, 2024 (when they won 13-3).
The team relied heavily on Fielding Strauss, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.
As for Brashear, they now have a losing record of 5-6. They have struggled against Kiski School recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
On Brashear's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Sarokon, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Kiski School has already played their next contest, an 8-7 defeat against Mercersburg Academy on the 7th. As for Brashear, they will venture away from home to square off against Obama Academy of International Studies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
