Last Monday, Cornerstone Christian took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 75-41 victory over Heritage Christian Academy.
Cornerstone Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Gassner out in front who scored 26 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The matchup was Gassner's third in a row with at least ten points. Zeke Adams was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 blocks.
Meanwhile, North River Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Coosa Valley Academy on Monday, taking the game 50-42. The victory was just what North River Christian needed coming off of a 68-43 loss in their prior match.
Cornerstone Christian's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North River Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
