The Dunbar Crimson Tide will head out on the road to take on the Archbishop Carroll Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in District of Columbia (Dunbar is ranked first, while Archbishop Carroll is ranked eighth).
Last Wednesday, Dunbar earned a 51-38 win over Anacostia. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dunbar.
Meanwhile, even though The Academy of the Holy Cross scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, Archbishop Carroll still came out on top. Archbishop Carroll walked away with a 65-55 victory over The Academy of the Holy Cross.
Dunbar's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Archbishop Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
Dunbar didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Archbishop Carroll in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, but they still walked away with a 65-61 victory. Will Dunbar repeat their success, or does Archbishop Carroll have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
