Lakeland Christian Academy's Cole Miller recorded the longest rushing play in TCAF District 1 (6 Man) this season in his game against Central Park Christian Academy last week. Miller ran for 70 yards on the play and finished with 124 on the day as his team defeated the Lions.
Wylie Prep Academy extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Faustina Academy, 80-58. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Patriots.
Cole Robinson made the biggest impact on defense this week as Lakeland Christian Academy beat Central Park Christian Academy. The 6-foot-0 junior forced 1 fumble, recorded 1 fumble and grabbed 1 sack.
Nick McCune threw for 447 yards and 8 touchdowns. He was 32-58 with 1 interception.
Dakotah Butler was the best receiver in the league this week as Westlake Academy topped High Point Prep Academy. Butler tallied 11 receptions for 139 yards. Chase Griffin helped Westlake Academy's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 121 yards.
Leading TCAF District 1 (6 Man) in both passing and receiving yards, the Blacksmiths' McCune and Aaron Pinto have proven to be a lethal combination. McCune has thrown for 1,141 yards this season, while Pinto has 13 catches for 304 yards. Sam McClellan from Lucas Christian Academy leads the league in rushing with 474 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wylie Prep Academy takes on Melvin Harper's team. As it stands, Larry Uland's team is in first, while the Lions are in fourth.
The Warriors took down Dallas Academy 46-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. McClellan ran for 127 yards and caught 1 pass for 19 yards during the win.
