While Basile didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Pine Prairie Panthers by a score of 56-48 on Thursday. The Bearcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Basile's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. As for Pine Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Basile will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against LaGrange at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Pine Prairie, they and DeQuincy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
