Jadis Jones was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 45 points and 19 rebounds for New Madrid County Central. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Another player making a difference was BJ Williamson, who scored 30 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Malden's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3. As for New Madrid County Central, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As for New Madrid County Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Poplar Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Poplar Bluff will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while New Madrid County Central is ranked fourth).
