Trinity Christian Academy has not had much luck with Atlantic Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Trinity Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Elsheema Saintyl scored 12 points along with three steals. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Trinity Christian Academy bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.6 points per game. As for Atlantic Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will take on Pine at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine's defense has only allowed 21.1 points per game this season, so Trinity Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Trinity Christian Academy. As for Atlantic Christian, they will be playing at home against Boca Raton Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
