The Ennis Lions entered their tilt with the Red Oak Hawks with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Ennis never let Red Oak onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Friday. Considering Ennis has won three contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
They hit Red Oak with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Regan Trojacek,
Sebastian Hernandez, and
Adrian Garcia.
Ennis' win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Red Oak, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last nine matchups, which is still a better percentage than their 2-10-1 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ennis will take on Terrell at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Terrell will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Ennis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Red Oak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crandall at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Crandall's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
