Jariel Rodriguez and Jason Guzman certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Rodriguez dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten assists, while Guzman scored 18 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Chazulle, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
Norman Thomas has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for West 50th Street, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
