The Perry County Vikings won the last time they faced the Collinwood Trojans, and things went their way on Friday too. Perry County secured a 54-50 W over Collinwood.
Perry County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenner Haston, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryvyn Brown, who scored 13 points.
Perry County's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Collinwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Hughes the next time they take the court. Perry County will host Hughes at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Collinwood will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
