Loch Raven is 0-8 against Parkville since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Loch Raven Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Parkville Knights at 5:30 p.m.
Loch Raven unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. Their tough 63-39 loss to Kenwood might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Loch Raven has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Parkville scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 93-60 victory over Aberdeen. Parkville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Alexander, who scored 25 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Alexander has scored all season. Tiras Wilkerson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Loch Raven's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Parkville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Loch Raven was dealt a bruising 93-64 loss at the hands of Parkville in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Loch Raven avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
