The All Saints Episcopal Trojans's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They secured a 38-34 W over Brook Hill. The victory was all the more spectacular given All Saints Episcopal's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1319th, while Brook Hill is ranked 459th).
Several Guard players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brenna Hill, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Savannah Onley, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Even though they lost, Brook Hill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
All Saints Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Brook Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. All Saints Episcopal will take on McKinney Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brook Hill, they will be playing at home against Dallas Christian at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dallas Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
