In what's become a running theme this season, the Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Fort Worth THESA 78-32 on the road. While fans of Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool might be used to big wins, the 46-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Hale, who scored 16 points along with five steals. It was the first time this season that Hale scored 15 or more points. Toby Pike was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Fort Worth THESA lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Drew Day, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Micah Ragsdale, who scored seven points.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Fort Worth THESA, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is on the road again on Saturday and plays the Angels at 12:50 p.m. on January 27th. Dallas HSAA will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 788th, while the Warriors are ranked 167th). As for Fort Worth THESA, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the at 11:30 a.m. on January 27th. Dallas Thunder knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully the Riders like a good challenge.
