Southwestern and the Hillbillies are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Southwestern Trojans' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Fredonia Hillbillies at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard on Tuesday.
Southwestern fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Marauders on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. Fredonia has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Davion White, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Hahn, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Southwestern has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Fredonia, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
