Meanwhile, St. John Paul II didn't have quite enough to beat Madison County on Monday and fell  2-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

 Wewahitchka's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 6-16. As for St. John Paul II, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
