Bay City was handed a 21-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Brazosport on Wednesday. Bay City skirted past Brazosport 63-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Bay City has posted yet this season.
Alex Estrada was a one-man wrecking crew for Bay City as he scored 30 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Estrada has scored all season. Adrian Molina was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, Stafford stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Sweeny 97-33 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Stafford who now have four in a row.
Bay City's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Stafford, they pushed their record up to 25-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Bay City suffered a grim 70-47 defeat to Stafford when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Bay City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
