The Morristown Yellow Jackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 52-34 to North Decatur. While losing is never fun, Morristown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while North Decatur is ranked 171st).
Morristown lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Colin Kieninger, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of William Snyder, who scored five points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Morristown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for North Decatur, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
Morristown will look to defend their home court on Friday against Edinburgh at 7:30 p.m. Edinburgh is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for North Decatur, they will face off against Batesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Batesville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Saturday.
