Wilson is 10-0 against Medina since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Wilson Lakemen will look to defend their home court against the Medina Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wilson has seven straight victories, Medina has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
In what's become a running theme this season, Wilson gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 48-13 victory over Barker. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Wilson has posted against Barker since December 19, 2019.
It was another big night for Rian Faery, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Thrush, who scored five points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Medina had to start their season on the road back in November of 2023, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a rough 43-12 loss at the hands of Kendall.
Wilson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Medina, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Wilson took their win against Medina in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 64-39. With Wilson ahead 42-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
