Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized outstanding performers in prep basketball. America's source for high school sports continues the tradition to close out the 2023-24 season by naming the top player in each state. Selections are based on team success and individual excellence in addition to local and state accolades.
Tee Bartlett of
Coronado (Henderson) is the 2023-24 Nevada MaxPreps Player of the Year. The 6-foot-10 junior center earns the honor after leading the Cougars to an 18-12 record and appearance in the Class 5A state championship game.
For the season, Bartlett averaged 22.8 points, 13.6 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and 2.2 assists per game and posted a double-double in all but one contest. He produced 15 points and 13 rebounds in a 63-60 loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) in the state championship.
