The Sotomayor WILDCATS lost against the Brennan Bears back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Sotomayor received a tough blow as they fell 56-37 to Brennan. Sotomayor has struggled against Brennan recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Jah'dae Bussey and Jordan Pete certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Bussey scored 17 points along with three steals, while Pete scored 11 points. Bussey hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games.
Taylor Ross continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Brennan, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Ross is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 16 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mahogany Pierce, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Sotomayor's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-9. As for Brennan, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-3.
Sotomayor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brennan also has no future games currently scheduled.
