Arcanum has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Minster Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Arcanum focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Arcanum was able to grind out a solid victory over Newton Local, taking the game 48-36.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arcanum to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexis Gibbons, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Gibbons has scored at least 25% of Arcanum's points. Ashlyn Miller was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Meanwhile, Minster came up short against Ottoville on Saturday and fell 59-48.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 2-0 season records intact.
