After a string of seven wins, The Forsan Buffaloes''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. The contest between Forsan and Ozona wasn't particularly close, with Forsan falling 28-14. Forsan lost against Ozona in their previous head to head on Friday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 28-14 score last time.
Despite the loss, Forsan still got an impressive performance from Brycen Cervantes, who rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Ozona found their leader in underclassman Christian Villareal, who rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Micheal Daniels, who picked up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Forsan's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Ozona, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Forsan will head out on the road to face off against Ozona at 7:00 p.m. As for Ozona, they will be playing at home against Forsan at 7:00 p.m. Forsan is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
