Apostolic Christian had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 49-29 margin over Clayton-Bradley Academy. Apostolic Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Several Blazers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bria Moynihan, who scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and two steals. Moynihan hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Mia Adkins, who scored seven points along with 14 rebounds and three steals.
Apostolic Christian's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-7. As for Clayton-Bradley Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
Apostolic Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clayton-Bradley Academy will be playing at home against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
