While losing is never fun, Rockwell Christian School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Victory Christian Academy is ranked 155th).
Victory Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lloyd Hampton led the charge by scoring 25 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hampton has scored at least 25% of Victory Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Coby Glaze, who scored 20 points.
Rockwell Christian School's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-6. As for Victory Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Rockwell Christian School will be playing in front of their home fans against Matthews Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. Victory Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southview Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th.
