The Highland Home Flying Squadron entered their tilt with the Calhoun Tigers with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Highland Home escaped with a win on Friday against Calhoun by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Calhoun lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyler Robertson, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. Robertson scored a full 35.5% of Calhoun's points, the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenterris Managan, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Highland Home's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Calhoun, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
