The Windber Ramblers will venture away from home to  challenge the North Star Cougars  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. North Star took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Windber, who comes in off a win.
Windber proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by seven) and  on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a  run and slipped past Blacklick Valley  6-5.

 Lucas Rummel made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out eight batters over  5.2 innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Lucas Oleksa was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Meanwhile, North Star was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  14-7 to Windber.
 Windber's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for North Star, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
 Everything went Windber's way against North Star when the teams last played  on Tuesday, as Windber made off with  a  14-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ramblers since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
