It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the California Condors had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 78-41 win over the Wildcats. California has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.
California got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Linares out in front who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Sanchez, who scored 20 points along with three steals.
California has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Twentynine Palms, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-17.
California didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 84-62 loss vs. Rancho Mirage on the 9th. Twentynine Palms does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
