The South Plantation Paladins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Impact Christian Academy 54-33. The victory was familiar territory for South Plantation who now have four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Plantation to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaiden Francis, who scored 16 points along with four steals. The match was Francis' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Lathan Coleman was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Impact Christian Academy had strong showings from Christopher Jackson, who scored nine points, and Ronald Clark, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him.
South Plantation is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Impact Christian Academy, they have fallen quite a ways from their 20-9 record last season and are now at 3-7.
South Plantation and King's Academy will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. King's Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 996 points over their last 13 matches. As for Impact Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Potter's House Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 6th.
