Alcoa (Tenn.) snapped the 14-game winning streak of
Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, Tenn.), with a 25-7 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Jaquez Tyson in the second quarter, the Tornadoes were up 19-7 at the half.
With the win Alcoa extended its winning streak to 13 games. Alcoa defeated Upperman 75-18 last week.
Christ Presbyterian Academy's lone touchdown came on a 30-yard run by
Chance Meier in the first quarter.
AHS came into the game allowing 11.1 points per game. The seven points that the Lions ended with were well below their average of 38.1 coming into the game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Christ Presbyterian Academy, which notched a 36-28 victory over Lewis County in its previous outing.
