Braden Turman put up the most runs he's had since back in April on Wednesday. He fired off two home runs while going 2-for-4, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also scored two runs, which is notable because Liberty is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-15 otherwise.

Even though Turman couldn't lead Liberty over Stockdale, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 145 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
