You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Phoenix's strategy against West Jefferson on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Phoenix Spartans blew the West Jefferson Buccaneers out of the water with a 48-10 final score. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Phoenix has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game. As for West Jefferson, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phoenix won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Grand Isle at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
