Last Monday, things could have been worse for Anderson, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-36 loss to Round Rock Westwood. Anderson has not had much luck with Round Rock Westwood recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, St. Michael's put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They pulled ahead with a 50-49 photo finish over Bowie.
St. Michael's relied on the efforts of Jake Broxterman, who scored 16 points, and Bo Ogden, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Ogden has scored at least 25% of St. Michael's points. Another player making a difference was Hayes Pounds, who scored 6 points along with 3 steals.
Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for St. Michael's, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
