With a playoff win on the line, Point Pleasant Beach rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Henry Hudson Admirals. The Garnet Gulls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

DANIEL STORCH was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. ANTONIO ACEVEDO was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Point Pleasant Beach hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in eight consecutive games.

Point Pleasant Beach has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Henry Hudson, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Point Pleasant Beach wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 win against South Amboy on the 29th. Henry Hudson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
