Kentridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sydney Esperanza, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Jayla Keowla was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals.
Kentridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Kennedy Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kentridge will take on Tahoma at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tahoma will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Kennedy Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hazen at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Hazen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
