Brunswick (Ohio) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
Garfield Heights (Ohio), 30-7, on Saturday.
The Blue Devils were up 17-0 at the half after taking the lead on a field goal by
Triston Wasil in the first quarter.
Brunswick expanded its lead to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Nick Roberts.
The Blue Devils' standout player in the win was Roberts. The senior running back ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.
The Bulldogs' lone touchdown came on an 8-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Brunswick also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 35-34.
Brunswick (3-1) will play a Northeast Ohio - Valley game against Mentor next week, while Garfield Heights (1-3) will take on Hudson in a non-conference game.
