Make it seven blowout wins for the Sebring Blue Streaks this season. They breezed by Auburndale at home to the tune of 55-14. With Sebring ahead 34-4 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Sebring's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shamari Jones, who scored 11 points along with six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Adrianna Maldonado was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Sebring has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Auburndale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sebring the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Discovery at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Discovery is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Auburndale, they will be playing at home against Bartow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bartow is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
