Chandler had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Henryetta on Monday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Knights. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Chandler's third in a row) raised their record to 11-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Henryetta, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-6-1.

Chandler will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
